* Worked in a large systems integration firm to sell ERP implementation and BPO services to large firms
* Experience in relationship building with C-suite to upsell BPO services
* Established relationship with leading ERP product sales channels to help position the firm strongly in the sales cycles
* Build a strong book of business in a short time
The selected candidate will
* Be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers.
* Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants.
* Focus on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
* Develop productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants.
* Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
This role is a senior leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. The ideal candidate will have 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience, 7-10 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. He or she will have the ability to demonstrate the most advanced product features, thorough knowledge of system and application design, and in-depth knowledge of competitors.
As the head of BPO sales, the person will show demonstrated project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
Other requirements include: Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
